Associate Food Technologist (Job Category: CP-2210-01)
Senomyx, Inc. is seeking an energetic and innovative individual to manage product development projects and resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing applications and prototypes utilizing and optimizing our company's flavor enhancers (sweet, savory, salt, bitter blockers, etc.), as well as designing and executing the development of products that meet customer's expectation from product development, shelf life testing, stability, and packaging through quality assurance processes and commercialization. Candidates must have product experience in bakery, sweet products, beverages, savory sauces and seasonings from inception through commercialization. Bachelor's degree in Food Science is required, plus a minimum of 0-2 years of food industry experience in the R&D area, including product inception through commercialization successes. Candidates must also possess a strong project management background, exceptional communication skills, outstanding customer service, and strong chemistry knowledge.
