Susan R. Firestone, Vice President, Human Resources, joined Senomyx as Executive Director, Human Resources in April 2007 and was appointed to the newly created Vice President position in February 2009. Ms. Firestone has more than 12 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. She held positions in start-up and Fortune 500 companies including Biogen IDEC Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Pfizer Inc. and Agouron Pharmaceuticals, and she has served as a consultant to leading companies in diverse industries. Ms. Firestone received an M.S. degree in Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles and B.S. degree in Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas Christian University.
