Eric T. Kool, Ph.D.
Eric T. Kool, Ph.D., the George and Hilda Daubert Professor of Chemistry at Stanford University. Dr. Kool's research is aimed at gaining basic understanding of biological interactions and mechanisms involving nucleotides, RNA and DNA, and applying this understanding to the design of new functionally useful molecular probes. In fifteen years he has published over 160 research papers and has presented more than 200 invited lectures describing his work. Dr. Kool has been named an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellow, a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and has received the American Chemical Society's Arthur C. Cope Scholar Award and the ACS Pfizer Award. He also has received the Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching at Stanford.
Dr. Kool joined the Senomyx Scientific Advisory Board in April 2006.
