SENOMYX TO WEBCAST CORPORATE PRESENTATION AT THE SEVENTH ANNUAL NEEDHAM GROWTH CONFERENCE


LA JOLLA, CA - January 5, 2005 - Senomyx, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNMX) announced today that the Company's President and CEO, Kent Snyder, will present a corporate overview on Wednesday, January 12, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 a.m. Pacific Time) during the Seventh Annual Needham Growth Conference. The conference is taking place at The New York Palace Hotel in New York City. During their presentation, Mr. Snyder will provide an overview of the Company's pipeline of novel flavor enhancers and taste modulators and a product development update.
