SENOMYX, INC. SECOND QUARTER 2008 EARNINGS CONFERENCE CALL SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 7, 2008

SAN DIEGO, CA – July 17, 2008 – Senomyx, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNMX) will release its second quarter 2008 financial results on Thursday, August 7, 2008 before the opening of the U.S. financial markets. The Company will also host a conference call with a live Internet broadcast that will provide a business update and a review of its second quarter results on the same day at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 a.m. Pacific Time).
